YC 2019 | NEXT

Our theme for YC 2019 is NEXT.

We want to encourage students to never settle for where they are but to keep moving forward and seeking what God’s “NEXT” is for them. Their story has just begun and He who is faithful will complete it.

A message for parents & leaders

We are all so excited about YC Alberta 2019 and the opportunity to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Wow 25 years! That just sounds so surreal to say but here we are 25 years later walking into a God dream that continues to unfold some incredible realities. Last year was amazing as we experienced an incredible weekend of teaching, worship, concerts, and activities. It was so inspiring and quite frankly a lot of fun. The testimonies and feedback have been absolutely encouraging.

YC will take place May 18-20, 2019 at the Enmax Centrium and Westerner Park in Red Deer.

Our theme for 2019 and our 25th Anniversary is simply “NEXT”. Don’t worry, we are going to celebrate this occasion in a big way but more importantly we want to encourage students to never settle for where they are but to keep moving forward and seeking what God’s “NEXT” is for them. Their story has just begun and He who is faithful will complete it.

We also recognize that bringing students to a YC event is a huge undertaking for most youth leaders both logistically and financially. It takes countless hours of planning, promoting, organizing, and fundraising to make it all happen but it is so worth it. Let us know if there is any way we can help you with your plans as you prepare to bring students to this awesome weekend.

Registration Day opens early this fall with a special rate for the first 25 hours!

October 1, 2018 at 12:00 PM the price will be $125.00
October 2, 2018 at 1:00 PM the price will be $150.00
February 1, 2019 price increases to $175.00
May 15, 2019 price increases to $200.00

Looking forward to seeing what’s NEXT!

Junior High and High School students, young adults and chaperones. No children please.

What does the YC Alberta registration cost include?

Registration includes entrance to all YC Alberta sessions, workshops, concerts, and many activities. (Remember, registration does not include accommodation, transportation, or any meals.)

What about registration discounts?

Take advantage of our Earlybird Registration. See registration section for details.

Can we register for a portion of YC Alberta? (ie. a concert, a main session).

No, YC Alberta is designed to be a closed conference as opposed to an evening rally or festival.

Do youth leaders, sponsors, and chaperones have to pay the full registration fee?

Yes. All who attend are required to pay. This helps keep the cost for students much lower. We know that youth leaders, sponsors, and chaperones will also benefit from the ministry of this weekend.

Can youth attend without chaperones?

We ask that all youth under the age of 18 attend with a chaperone or under the supervision of a youth group. We strongly suggest a ratio of 1 youth leader for every 7 youth.

The Heart Behind YC

About YC and Extreme Dream Ministries

YC Alberta is a multi-denominational Christian youth conference, presented annually by Extreme Dream Ministries. At Extreme Dream we are passionate about seeing youth radically transformed by the life-changing power of a relationship with Jesus and the plan He has for them to make a difference in the world they live in. The guest speakers and bands we bring in for YC share our passion for seeing a generation transformed by the love of God and equipped to live in His purposes.

YC weekend will have your youth singing their hearts out with anointed worship leaders; they will be sitting on the edge of their seats listening to first-class communicators whose messages will educate, encourage and inspire. Afternoon options include a wide variety of workshops that directly target the issues your youth are facing, fun games and activities. Let’s not forget the concerts, with the absolute best in Christian music.

We believe YC will have a positive impact on every student who attends!
